Primary Responsibilities and Key Job features:
Teaching First Aid and CPR Courses
Interact with students from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and education levels.
Assessing and remediating students
Travelling to client's premises to teach
Collection & return of training equipment to Delarey office
Prepare & Clean the training venue before and after courses
Completing paperwork and related admin for course work
Secondary Responsibilities:
Monitor and report on courses and provide relevant feedback.
Course development
Assisting in preparing course material for courses
Assisting in food preparation at the Delarey office for public courses
Attend training in order to develop relevant knowledge skills
Hours, location & compensation:
Average of 45 hours per week (Excluding Overtime) :
- Two Positions are available:
1st Trainee Instructor Position is Monday - Friday with 2 Saturdays a month. (Saturdays are overtime rate 150%)
2nd Trainee Instructor Position is Tuesday - Saturday (Mondays & Sundays are off)
Location of work will vary. Training is generally in JHB but sometimes also in Pretoria, Centurion & Midrand (Off site Travel expenses will be covered.), or occasionally at our Office in Delarey, Roodepoort
Salary
- 1st 6 months : Trainee
1st Position: R7500 basic with R1070 Overtime. Total R8570
2nd Position: R7500 basic with R1070 Overtime (For the Saturdays). Total R8570
- After 6 months : Junior (This is dependent on the instructors achievement of training goals)
1st Position: R8500 basic with R1215 Overtime, Total R9715
2nd Position: R8500 basic with R1215 Overtime (For the Saturdays), Total R9715
Training offered
- In the Trainee instructor position :
- Internal training to the value of R54 000.00
- In the Junior instructor position :
- External training offered to the value of R10 000.00 (Assessor & Moderator training)
Long term positions
- Person to start in the trainee instructor position then after approx 6months they progress to Junior Instructor
- Further Levels are Intermediate , Senior Instructor, Site Manager & Area manager. Where they would have extra responsibilities and higher pay for courses, they would have subordinates, etc.

2nd Interview (Advanced Psychometric Assessments) (60min)
3rd Interview (Discussion of results and Final interview 30-60min)
