-Registration with the Health Professionals
Council of South Africa as a Medical Practitioner
-Current ATLS Certificate would be a
recommendation
-Current ACLS Certificate
-Current APLS or PALS Certificate will be a
must have
-Experience in accident and emergency
management
-Good communication and interpersonal skills required
Key Outputs:
-General unit administration
-Management of all medical and surgical
emergencies
-Arrangements with doctors to staff the unit
-Managing and training of service provider's
paramedics
-Ensure staff in the unit is adequately trained
and qualified
-Stay updated with developments within the
Emergency Medicine field
Roadwork in Helicopter response
