Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Requirements:
-Registration with the Health Professionals
Council of South Africa as a Medical Practitioner
-Experience in accident and emergency
management Good communication and
interpersonal skills required
Key Outputs:
General unit administration Management of all medical and surgical emergencies Arrangements with doctors to staff the unit Managing and training of service provider's paramedics
Ensure staff in the unit is adequately trained and qualified Stay updated with developments within the Emergency Medicine field
Night shift and weekend duties will be required .
Participation in an active quality improvement programme Current ATLS Certificate would be a recommendation Current ACLS Certificate.Current APLS or PALS Certificate will be a recommendation.
