Ronin Protective Services, a worldwide industry leader in Close Protection & Remote Medic training located in Cape Town, is looking to employ a Paramedic (BTech/ BSc preferred) with a view to expanding our current course offerings.
Responsibilities/ Job Description
Training and Operational role
Deliver theoretical/ practical training to both Close Protection and Emergency Care students Mondays to Fridays
Perform front-line ambulance duties on the weekend aboard Ronin’s dedicated academic ambulance
Requirements
CCA / NDip / BTech/ BSc in Emergency Medical Care
Current registration with the HPCSA as an ANT or ECP
Valid Driver’s License + Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Qualified SAQA Assessor
(Unit Standard 115753 Conduct outcomes-based assessment)
Holds certification in defensive and offensive driving
(Specifically SAQA Unit Standard 115311 or 377201/ 377220)
Soft Skills
A good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Computer literate
Open minded
Flexible
Able to work in a small-team environment
Good people skills
Mature
Reliable
An eye for detail
Remuneration
R240 000/ annum (cost to company)
6 weeks paid leave per annum
Special Notes
Start date: 21st of January 2013
The successful applicant will be expected to attend a 6-week in-house training/ probationary period on an accommodation and food basis only.
