The Role
We are seeking immediate expressions of
interest from professional, well presented,
and enthusiastic Paramedics to work in
the Bowen Basin on a Casual basis leading
to full time opportunities. We seek good
communicators with a genuine desire to
exceed customer expectations in critical
remote site roles. You may be looking for a
change or to supplement your existing
income from on-road work or another
commercial pre-hospital care role.
Essential criteria
• You MUST hold a current Certificate of
Currency/Authority to Practice with a State
or Territory Ambulance Service OR an
authorised QLD Commercial Paramedical
services company.
• Current Standard 11/Generic induction;
• Current Coal Board Medical;
• Minimum 5 years on-road or equivalent
experience;
• Experience as a Paramedic in the
resources industry;
• Diploma of Paramedical Science or
higher Bachelor Degree;
• The ability to obtain a Certificate of
Practice under Wilson Security's clinical
governance.
• Cert IV TAE.
• Demonstrable computer literacy with the
Microsoft Office suite.
Highly desirable criteria
• Statements of Attainment and
experience in ERT courses: Open circuit
BA, Road Crash Rescue, Fire Team Ops,
Vertical Rescue, Confined Spaces Rescue;
• Cert II in Security Operations and a QLD
Security license;
• Experience working in a clinic
environment;
• Rehab and Return to Work Coordinators
course and Experience;
• Existing Drug and Alcohol testing
qualification.
