Location: Cape Town
The successful applicant will be based at Cape Town International Airport on a ground ambulance.
The ideal applicant must be an Ambulance Emergency Assistant, registered with the HPCSA, with a minimum of 1 year’s experience. Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence with PRDP for passengers and dangerous goods is essential.
Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as being a team player, be able to function under pressure and work independently. Applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours, and be prepared to assist with administration and data-capturing functions.
Duties include: Emergency medical response and treatment of patients, control of medical equipment & supplies, operational related functions, training, general administration and be prepared to participate in the co-ordination of flights and other duties as required from time to time. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is advantageous.
Own reliable transport is mandatory
Preference will be given in terms of the AMS’s Employment Equity Policy.
