ALS Employment Opportunity:

Gardmed Ambulance Service is one of the largest private services in the Eastern Cape, serving the community for the last 20 years.

Two exciting employment opportunities exist for ALS practitioners (ECT, CCA, NDip, BTech) at our Mthatha and Grahams Town branches.

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 2 years medical experience is essential (it would be beneficial if this experience is with a private service)Current registration with the HPCSACPD point currencyACLS, ATLS and PALS strongly beneficialPrevious administrative/managerial experience and knowledge of medical aid procedures will be highly advantageous.Fluent in at least two South African languages, one of which must be English. A third language will be to your advantage.Computer literate and have an ability to learn and operate Computer Aided Dispatch and other Business Administration platforms.Professional, clear and well-spoken telephone manner and a willingness to teach.An ability to work calmly under pressure during periods of high call volumes.Be reliable, have a positive attitude, with contactable references.
