You will be responsible for performing emergency rescue procedures, stabilising and administering medical treatment to casualties and ensuring safe transportation to medical facilities as well as facilitating first aid training in compliance with law requirements and managing first aid equipment on the mine's premises. An additional focus area will include conducting audio, vision, urine, lung, blood pressure, and RFA tests during entry and exit medicals.
In order to apply, you will need a Grade 12 and 3 years' emergency services experience. Intermediate Ambulance accreditation with the Health Professional Council SA and certificates in Spirometry and Audiometry are important and a Code 10 driver's licence and indemnity cover are essential.
Remuneration:
The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore regulations.
This is a GBF9 Grading (S4)
