Explore the heart of Snowy River country from Orbost, a small East Gippsland town surrounded by national parks, forests and beaches. Recharge at the town's cafes and bakeries, or visit galleries and see the historical Slab Hut – an original 1872 pioneer hut relocated from the upper Snowy River.
The town supplies all the basic needs; hospital, library, police, supermarkets, banks, post office and several food outlets. Orbost has recently changed to a 4 on 4 off roster with call attached. This could be the lifestyle change you have been looking for!
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
Current ALS certification
Demonstrated high standards of patient care
Demonstrated clinical competence
Ability to work independently with a variety of staff, including Ambulance Community Officers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Effective team member
Problem solving and analysis skills
High level of safety awareness and compliance
Conditions of employment will be as specified in the Ambulance Victoria Enterprise Agreement 2009.
The successful applicants will be required to pass a medical and physical fitness assessment as determined by Ambulance Victoria.
