Responsibilities:
Provide first aid and other medical treatment as and when required utilising where necessary onshore medical specialists and acting on their advice
Arrange for, and assist in the investigation and reporting of all near misses, accidents and incidents. Compile
appropriate documentation and paperwork and keeping records
Responsible for maintaining an optimum stock of medical and safety equipment
Maintaining a dangerous drugs record on behalf of the OIM
Provide training of First Aid / Triage teams offshore
Provide clerical and administrative services as required by the OIM
Responsible for Heli traffic control and administration and updating of the POB lists, carrying out all safety inductions and maintaining records as necessary eg additional hours records
Assist the Marine Supervisor and advise on the movement and handling of all hazardous substances. To maintain the required COSHH documentation and administration
Monitor the general health of the platform and advise the OIM on issues, improvements or campaigns to gain an overall improvement
Responsible for the occupational health hazard identification monitoring and management
Regularly review and monitor compliance with safe work systems and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role essential i.e an experienced offshore Medic, a qualified Medic or Paramedic
Desired Skills/Experience: HSE Medic Certificate QualificationsDirect experience or equivalent
