Requirements:
Minimum Educational Qualifications: successful completion of the critical care assistant (CCA)
programmes or recognised National Diploma or B-Tech degree that allows
registration with HPCSA as Paramedic or Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP).
Paramedic (CCA) - 14 years after registration with
the HPCSA as Paramedic. Registered Paramedic (NDip) - 7 years after
registration with the HPCSA as a Paramedic. Registered ECP - None
Registration with the Health Professions
Council of South Africa
(HPCSA) as a Paramedic (CCA OR NDip) or ECP. Inherent Requirements of
the Job: Valid Code C1
drivers licence. Professional drivers permit
