ALS Paramedic

Company: Life Med Ambulance Services Head office, Villieria, Pretoria.
Duration: Permanent.

Appointment date: 1 April 2015
Working hours: Shift roster
Key responsibilities:
Responding to scene and scene management

Patient treatment
Air transfers (nationally and internationally)
Assisting the operational manager with operational requirements
Providing training to subordinates
ALS Medication, vehicle and equipment management
Performing duties associated with the ALS qualification under the provisions of the HPCSA and relevant legislation.
 
Minimum requirements:
CCA certificate / National Diploma
A Valid driver’s licence and PDP
A minimum of 2 year responding experience
A valid passport (permissible to apply for one upon appointment)
CPD points must be up to date
Behavioural competencies:
Friendly and professional conduct
Presentable and neat
Punctual
Ability to work under stressful and traumatic conditions
High standard of ethics and integrity
 
Salary:
Sunday and public holiday allowance provided as well as overtime.
Pension and benefits available
Basic salary is negotiable
