Job Summary:
Suitably qualified female candidates are invited to apply for the position of Mining Medical Officer (Paramedic) for a remote
mining operation located within the D.R. Congo, to provide the effective running of all site clinical services for a mining operation which currently employees 300 staff and 300 contractors.
This includes providing efficient an effective treatment of all work and non-work related medical incidents
The successful candidate will be required to work a 6 week on-site followed by a 3 week off (return home) rotation
All travel and accommodation will be provided by the employer

Candidate Requirements
Must have ATLS certificate
Must have ACLS certificate
Must have Diploma Emergency Medical Care
Must be registered with the health professions council of South Africa
Must have excellent pre-hospital care skills
Must have remote or isolated area health-care background
Min 7 years’ experience in accident and emergency management
Must be able to train/develop local Congolese nurses
Preference will be given to French/Swahili speakers
