Minimum Requirements:
- Current registration with the Professional Board of Emergency Care Personnel as a Paramedic.
- 1 year Post-Graduate patient care experience in an operational environment
- Valid unendorsed drivers licence (with PDP)
- Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Analytical, Problem Solving and Technical Skills- Computer Literacy is essential
- Good general knowledge and understanding of legislation pertaining to specific business environment of EMS and the industry
- Commitment to learning
- Quality Oriented (Attention to details)
Duties:
- Respond to any emergency (if required) and administer Basic Life Support treatment to any patient requiring as per the HPCSA protocols and regulations.
- Log all calls with Vuza Medical Call Centre and obtain a Case Number for every call attended.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the operational units and station on a daily basis.
- Ensure proper and adequate stock control and replacement at all levels.
- Complete all company and legal documentation essential in the completion of your duty, and to ensure that copies of such documentation are submitted timeously for processing claims.
- Ensure hospital records are completed in accordance with their internal requirements whenever a patient is delivered to them via the casualty/emergency unit.
- Complete all paper work required for leave submissions processed at operational level.
- Perform any other reasonable duty as requested by Vuza Medical Senior Management.
- Attend CME training as required.
- Submit to involvement in community projects (if required).
- Managing work and build customer loyalty.
Salary: R4000 per month
