Introduction
Murray & Roberts Projects invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Paramedic for the Medupi Project reporting to the HSE Manager. The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Boiler for the coal fired Medupi Power Station to be erected at the Medupi Site at Lephalale (Ellisras), Limpopo, South Africa.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in BLS paramedic services
Must have a minimum of 1 year clinic experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS paramedical qualification (Valid Registration)
First aid and CPR instructor
CPD points up to date

Treat all patient according protocol
Inspection of all first aid boxes and keeping register up to date
Training of First aider
Cleaning and maintaining ambulance and first aid station
Treat patient with respect and apply the best treatment possible
Make sure you always work hygienically
Be aware of contamination
Be willing to work all shifts (day or night)
Complete all documentation like WCL 2 forms and patient report forms
Filling when required
Monitoring all disposal medical equipment level
Inspection of all first aid checks sheets
Maintaining KM log sheet of ambulance
Making sure that CPD points are up to date
Assist ILS paramedic when needed
At all times available to support the colleagues as well as replacing or relieving the colleague during illness or leave. This includes all aspects of the project (e.g. meetings, scheduling, site power, coordination, commercial, etc.).
