Emergency Response Coordinator Kimberley

Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to:
Prepare and implement an emergency response/ disaster management plan aligned to the policy framework Plan and develop disaster response operational strategies that includes readiness and response tactics in compliance with the policy framework Monitor disaster management project costs and ensure expenditure within allocated budget Evaluate and analyse disaster management needs Design develop and document a comprehensive emergency response/disaster management plan based on best practice Develop/obtain relevant information and training for all involved parties Provide comprehensive written recommendations with implementation plans in respect of all analysis undertaken Ensure company has the human and material resources necessary to initiate and sustain an emergency response and disaster response operation Direct and oversee the work assignment and performance of volunteers Develop and obtain the applicable registrations and legal documentation for certification Establish and maintain strategic alliances, professional networks and working relationships Provide analysis, advice and consultation on program and/or service. Maintain close working relationship with ECOHS Participate in Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health audits and inspections Minimum

Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in emergency response and/or disaster management Experience of working as a paramedic and/or with emergency response teams is a requirement 5 - 8 years broad emergency response planning and integration experience Comprehensive knowledge of disaster management and emergency response gained through experience is vital
