JOB ROLE / PURPOSE :
The General Manager will be responsible for providing overall support to the company and to ensure that policies and practices are implemented in line with best practice and company standards.
KPI’s:
1. Recruitment and Induction
· Assist management with the development of Job Profiles and Specifications
· Deliver on recruitment requirements for the business
· Ensure that all new employees are taken through an induction
2. Administration
· Ensure all letters, contracts, benefit documentation etc, are completed an filed in an accurate
an timely manner
· Staff interviews
· Provide regular and thorough HR reporting
· Salary structures, level reviews and payroll issues
· Update staff profiles and all relevant information
3. Industrial and Employee Relations
· Advise on, and implement disciplinary processes as required in accordance with the law
· Advise and assist in implementing action to reduce unnecessary absenteeism
· Ensure that employee satisfaction surveys are regularly conducted
4. Performance Management
· Implement performance management systems
· Roll out HR initiatives to improve staff performance
· Assist in the day to day management of the business .
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years Management experience
- Knowledge of the Security industry will be an advantage
- Computer Literate and experienced in Word / Excel / Email
- A Valid Drivers license.
