Senior Lecturer in Clinical Health Care (Acute and Emergency Care)
Starting salary: £ 37,382 , rising annually to £ 45,941

You will be responsible for:
§ undertaking academic and related responsibilities, including leading the development of research across the Acute and Emergency Care cluster; this will primarily be in Operating Department Practice and Paramedic Emergency Care
§ developing, planning, teaching, assessing and evaluation of the programmes
§ supervising and supporting students within Operating Department Practice and Paramedic Emergency Care
§ professional tutoring for an agreed number of students
§ leading on research within the Emergency and Acute Care programmes

§ contributing to the developments of Operating Department Practice and Paramedic Emergency Care and the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

You should have:

§ registration with the Health and Care Professions Council, either as an operating department practitioner or paramedic
§ a PhD or equivalent and be research active
§ experience of working clinically and educationally in Operating Department Practice or Paramedic Emergency Care
§ experience of leadership and undertaking research
§ evidence of teaching experience and involvement in clinical practice development
§ an understanding of interprofessional education.
