Walz Group are seeking a qualified Paramedic / Safety Officer for one of our FIFO projects.
You will be responsible for:
Quick response for all medical incidents
Tending to injuries ranging from minor to critical
Communication between other on-site Emergency Response personnel and external Emergency Services
Provide support to the site as a Safety Officer ensuring compliance with site safety systems and procedures, legislative requirements etc
Skills & Qualifications:
- Paramedic or Nursing qualifications
- Cert IV in OH&S or equivalent
- Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work coordination
- Demonstrated experience as a first responder in a similar role within the construction industry (preferred)
- Must have current First Aid, CPR certification
- On road ambulance experience with an unrestricted manual drivers licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
