integrated medical, paramedical and wellness services to both large and
small corporate and community groups.
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are now seeking an experienced Offshore Paramedic who possesses a passion for remote work and high quality care to join our Site Services team on Full-time basis, FIFO 2:2;2:4. In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of professional and efficient emergency services such as patient support and injury treatment/management.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Emergency response;
- Emergency primary care of injured workers;
- Documentation and patient contact / emergency care management;
- Assisting travel of staff to and from offshore vessels
- Training and development of site personnel;
- Drug and Alcohol testing
- Reviewing and updating safety and health procedures.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicants will be
flexible, dynamic and work well in a team environment. You will have
demonstrated experience working offshore in a similar capacity,
excellent organisational skills and exceptional verbal and written
communication skills.
You will also require:
- Bachelor of Paramedical Science or equivalent
- Helicopter operations experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an offshore medic environment or similar role
- Possession of TBOSIET
- Current ALS/MSIC
- Experience with rescue and extrication techniques
- Advanced trauma management/PHTLS
