Station manager

Salary: R201 504 - R261 552 per annum (plus benefits) (Ref. PCSE0089)
Minimum requirements:
-A Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
-A Higher Certificate in Fire Technology or equivalent
-AEA with HPCSA registration
-A Code EC driver's licence with PrDP.

Core responsibilities:
-Manage activities at station level by planning and coordinating all tasks executed at the fire station.
-Prepare all statistical reports, annual leave reports and all other administrative documents required for the smooth running of the fire station.
-Execute Human Resource Management functions, such as the management of discipline and grievances, training, staff registration with HPCSA and PrDP registration.
-Maintain the operational readiness of personnel, equipment and vehicles.
-Assist with the operational needs analysis within the district.
-Respond to major incidents as and when required, to render effective and efficient emergency medical services.
