First Aid Trainer

National Training Service Provider has an exciting opportunity available for an Emergency First Aid Trainer. Our company is fully accredited and nationally recognized with Transport SETA.

This position would be suitable for a Paramedic who would like to move into a training position.

A Trainer has various roles and responsibilities and it’s important for the Trainer to take these roles and responsibilities seriously as first aid is potentially lifesaving in an emergency situation and we need to get the message across to our Trainees.
A First Aid Trainer’s overall aim should be to teach Trainee’s to preserve life.  Other aims of first aid include prevent the worsening of the patient’s condition and to promote recovery. 
Must be prepared to travel
Position available immediately and salary is negotiable on experience.
Matric
Certificate in First Aid Level 1-3
First Aid Instructor Qualification would be an advantage as well as First Aid Instructor Course
Valid Driver's Licence
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Patient with passion for First Aid
Experience and knowledge should include performing procedures such as:
         Placing an unconscious casualty into the recovery position
         Performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
         Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
         Stopping bleeding using pressure and elevation
         Keeping a fractured limb still
 
Basic salary + overtime (if and when required) + km's travelled.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
