St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. operates the Northern Territory Ambulance Service and is also a major provider of first aid training services as well as a large first aid volunteer network.
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified ambulance paramedics/intensive care paramedics for the position of Station Officer.
The Position
This is a blended front line management and clinical support role across the Alice Springs area. During your shift you will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and professional ambulance services by providing clinical and professional leadership to paramedic staff and effectively managing resources, including vehicles and equipment, across the area of operations.
Applicants must possess
· Current Authority to Practice and at least 3 years on-road experience with a recognised State or Territory Emergency Ambulance service;
· Demonstrated ability to lead a team of Paramedics;
· Effective and clear communicator;
· Strong ability to work in a team environment;
· Approachable and flexible;
· Ability to handle multiple tasks;
· Must display the values of St John; Integrity, Respect, Quality, Dedication and Compassion
