Requirements:
• Qualified and actively working on the road for the past 12 months as an Intermediate Life Support or Emergency Care Technician. Relevant qualifications will need to be maintained through the duration of your employment.
• Current Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Intermediate Life Support (AEA) or Emergency Care Technician (ECT)
• Valid South African Driver’s License with PDP
• Excellent Driving Skills with no record of accidents within the last 5 years. (Will be confirmed during pre-employment checks)
• Respectable and Professional Bedside Manner
• Strong leadership skills with sound business acumen.
• Have good Administrative Skills
• Hardworking and willing
· Current South African Police Clearance (within last 6 months) or ability to obtain one.
Key Work Outputs:
• Efficient and Effective Management of Emergency Medical and Trauma Calls as per Company Standards, Policies and Procedures.
• Safe Operating of Company Vehicles and Equipment as per Company Policies and Procedures
• Leadership Skills
• Skillful management of patients, complying with clinical governance guidelines as set out by the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• Good communication skills with colleagues, Hospital staff and Doctors
• The ability to see, pursue, develop and acquire new Business
• Support, supervise and train less experienced staff
• Must be able to inspire, motivate, develop and lead other staff to ensure efficient clinical and professional Emergency Medical Care
• Be able to operate in Emergency Medical Care situations use your skills, protocols and professional findings
