Salary: R147 924 - R271 155 per annum (Ref. H12/10)
Requirements:
Registered Paramedics with Critical Care Assistant or NDip or BTech qualification
Registered with the HPCSA as a Paramedic (CCA)
Valid Code 10 driver's licence
Valid PRDP.

Knowledge of rules and regulations of Road and Traffic ordinance

Duties:
Treat patients in accordance with ALS protocols and transport patients to hospital from scene and between hospitals in accordance with the relevant protocols
Maintain best clinical practices in accordance with quality standards
Abide by the Standing Operational Procedures and other EMS policies
Maintain accurate and reliable records at all times
Provide in-service training to BLS and ILS staff
Assume responsibility for the security of the vehicle, drugs and equipment
Treat and escort patients on emergency flights when requested
Respond to opportunities that enhance professional development (eg in-service training, attend workshops, forum meetings and update staff accordingly)
Undertake any other duties as allocated by a Supervisor/Manager.
